At your first appointment our doctors take plenty of time for you, analyse the areas that trouble you and show you how best to treat them. Most patients then have the treatment done straight away.

Depending on the line, we recommend the appropriate method — often the combination looks the most natural.

Step 3Your treatment
The course of your treatment is remarkably simple: we disinfect your face, carry out the virtually painless injections — and after just a few minutes you can return to everyday life. It really is that straightforward.
Congratulations — your result!
After the treatment there is a short wait until the full effect develops. That usually takes 4 days — and then the result is perfect.

How long does Botox treatment last?
Botox is slowly broken down by the body. So that your result stays consistently fresh, we recommend a refresher every four months on average.

Your first treatment takes around 15 minutes. After about 4 days the full effect is visible: the lines are smoothed and your facial expression stays natural.

The effect slowly wears off. Now we refresh — before the lines can etch themselves into the skin again.

From here it is routine: two to three short appointments a year are enough to maintain your result permanently.
Every 4 months on average — in some cases 6 months is enough. How long Botox lasts for you depends on your musculature, your metabolism and the region treated. We discuss the rhythm that suits you individually.
The great advantage of regular treatment: relaxed musculature actively prevents the formation of new lines. It is therefore often worth starting sooner rather than later — because a line that never forms in the first place does not need elaborate treatment later.
And the comparison with high-quality anti-ageing creams is astonishing for many: per month, a Botox treatment often comes to less than what is spent on care products — with a usually far better result. In many cases creams have little to no effect, and above all no preventive one.

Botox and hyaluronic acid work in different ways. While Botox® relaxes the muscles that cause lines, hyaluronic acid replaces missing volume. Both methods can be combined to achieve a harmonious, natural result.
Botox & hyaluronic acid as the most effective method of wrinkle treatment
Botox is a protein proven over decades that relaxes the facial musculature for 3 to 6 months and thereby helps to smooth the skin. Targeted injections relax the muscles responsible for expression lines, which leads to a considerable tightening of the skin. In this way we can soften lines lastingly and prevent new ones from forming.
Why is sun protection essential after a Botox treatment?
After a Botox treatment, sun exposure can lead to redness, swelling and sensitivity. It can also impair the effect of Botox, since UV rays accelerate the breakdown of the active substance. To ensure optimal results you should avoid direct sunlight and use a sunscreen with at least SPF 30.

Why are the forehead, the frown line and the eyes considered together?
Because these areas influence one another: if movement is reduced in one zone, the neighbouring zone can become more active. Only planning all three together avoids an unbalanced result. That does not mean all three always have to be treated.
Is more Botox better — or does it last longer?
No. A higher dose mainly produces a stronger result — the facial expression quickly becomes too stiff and looks unnatural. The duration is extended marginally at best. That is why we dose for the optimal result, not for maximum longevity.
What can I do if an earlier Botox treatment went wrong?
Tell us exactly what happened — a dropped eyebrow, for instance, or too little movement in the forehead. That is precisely what we learn from: a lower dose, injection points set higher, more distance to the eyebrow. This is how your personal plan gets better from treatment to treatment.
How long does it take for bad Botox to wear off?
Exactly as long as good Botox: individually about three to four months until the effect has worn off completely. Sport and heat could in theory speed up the breakdown minimally — but it is not something to rely on.
